Challenges, Changes and Connecting with what is Real.
This year has been a tough one, that's for sure - for corporates and employees alike. Two disruptive years of gruelling COVID chaos had us all scrambling to just make a plan to keep things going - and the transition back to workplace normalcy after the pandemic lifted was anything but easy.
Nobody could have anticipated the level of deep dissatisfaction, demotivation and changing in career commitment that COVID uncovered - or how deep employee unhappiness had grown with the standard nine to five hustle, and selling our souls just to keep head above water so that we could make ends meet.
2022 became known as The Great Resignation, the Big Quit, the Great Reshuffle, as hundreds of thousands of employees around the globe quit their jobs and handed back their time-cards and said "No more, not like this. There has to be more to life than this."
Earlier this year I took time out to talk to Marina Bekker in her Masterclass Series on Vibrant Living. In this video, I talk about changes, choices and connecting with our authentic potential.

In the video I talk about an e-book I had written, especially around awakening your potential. I have called it Awaken Your Divine Warrior - Discovering the steps to real happiness and I would love for you to download it as my end of year gift to you!
Instead of finishing the year strong, why don't we allow ourselves to finish soft?
This quote keeps resonating in my head.
Everyone out there is exhorting us to finish strong, stay the course, keep on going, pump and drive until we get over the finish line ... and then for good measure, START STRONG, stay powerful, start the year in a high gear.
I have a different suggestion to make though. 2022 has been a tough year for all of us, so why don't we give ourselves permission to step into self-care as we come to the end of it. Rest, recuperate, relax. Download, offload, unload. Give ourselves time to breathe deeply and just let ourselves reflect on the year that was, before we go hurtling head long into the year that is coming.
I am all for hard work and pushing the envelope when it's needed. But right now, I'm sensing - and I am sure that you are too - that the world is tired of pressure.
Let's finish soft this year! If you need some help with finishing soft, then give me a shout, and let's set up some time to connect.
